country suffering from terrorism should strengthen law enforcement capacities to identify and prosecute individuals who are involved in terrorist activities. When a country fails to enforce the laws against terrorism, terrorism activities will continue to flourish and more people and groups are likely to emerge.

MILITARY ACTION:

The methods used to combat terrorism depends on the situations on ground. There is no single methods that could be used, it all depends on the facts and situations on ground. In some cases, military action may be necessary to disrupt and defeat terrorist groups, military should be used as a last resort and with the careful consideration of its potential consequences.

COUNTERING VIOLENT EXTREMISM  (CVE):

It is very important to address the underlying drivers of terrorism by promoting social and economic development, improving governance, and providing alternatives to violent extremism. TWHAT THE CITIZENS COULD DO FOR SELF DEFENSE OPTIONS AMD REPORTING PROCEDURES:

Citizens should take precautions to keep themselves safe both offline and online, and they should report any questionable behavior they come across. The easiest strategies to do this are to: * Pay attention to your surroundings; and, * Avoid disclosing too much personal information.

If you see something, say something. Today's violent radicals are reclusive, making it challenging for law enforcement authorities to locate and dislodge them before an attack. Often, a person's relatives or friends will be the ones to first observe a worrying shift in behavior that might mean they are preparing to use violence.

Governments and private organizations should provide contact phone numbers, emails and other means to enable citizens to make a report in case they observe or suspect any Strange movement suspected to terrorists.
