Hilda Dokubo, the chairman of the Rivers State Labour Party, has informed Nyesom Wike, Minister of the FCT, via social media. She said that the group of senators he purportedly dispatched to represent Rivers State in the Senate of Nigeria had not yet introduced themselves to their constituents.
Hilda Dokubo used her official Instagram account to make this declaration. Following Senator Ireti Kingibe's remarks on Nyesom Wike's performance in Abuja since taking office, Dokubo responded to what Wike had stated.
The seasoned actress claimed that because Senator Ireti Kingibe was voted to office, Minister Nyesom Wike has a duty to respect her position. She further mentioned that since joining the Senate, Senator Ireti Kingibe has sponsored a lot of bills.
She did, however, claim that a few of the individuals Wike sent to the Senate had not "coughed" since they arrived.
She stated, "Oga, do you remember how many people you sent to that Senate? Some of them have not coughed since they got to that Senate."
"Some of them have not even introduced themselves. Rivers people do not even know who they are, but they are senators. They are sitting down there. We are waiting to hear them introduce themselves. Pot calling kettle black.
