THE PDP ZONING COMMITTEE: SOME CANDID ADVICE AND WARNING BY THE PDP CONCERNED PATRIOTIC STAKEHOLDERS.

The PDP Concerned Patriotic Stakeholders are aware of the importance of the assignment given to the PDP Zoning Committee and wish to advise seriously and candidly as follows:

THE EXISTING ZONING ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE SIX GEO-POLITICAL ZONES THAT EXISTED SINCE DECEMBER 2021 SHOULD NOT BE ALTERED. SUCH ARRANGEMENTS MUST BE MAINTAINED SO AS TO AVOID FURTHER COMPLICATIONS AT THIS CRUCIAL MOMENT OF THE PARTY’S HISTORY.

THE SAID ZONING ARRANGEMENT SHOULD BE MAINTAINED TILL DECEMBER 2029 WHEN IT WOULD EXPIRE FOR ANOTHER ARRANGEMENT TO BE NEGOTIATED AND BE OPERATIONALIZED THEREAFTER.

WITHIN EACH GEOPOLITICAL ZONE HOWEVER, THE NWC CANDIDATES COULD CHANGE TO ADDRESS THE PECULIAR NEEDS OF SUCH  ZONE BUT THE AGREED ZONAL SLOTS OF NWC POSITIONS MUST NOT CHANGE FROM ONE GEO-POLITICAL ZONE TO ANOTHER UNTIL AFTER DECEMBER 2029.

THE MEMBERS OF THE ZONING COMMITTEE MUST BE FORTHRIGHT IN THE DISCHARGE OF THEIR SENSITIVE ASSIGNMENTS AND MUST NOT BE INFLUENCED BY ANY OVER-AMBITIOUS INDIVIDUAL WHO IS HELL-BENT AT CAUSING IRREPARABLE DAMAGES TO OUR GREAT PARTY FOR HIS SELFISH AMBITION THAT IS EVEN DEAD ON CONTEMPLATION/ARRIVAL

The reasons for the above pieces of advice are as follows:

1. PDP had suffered so much from self-afflicted, avoidable and unnecessary crises. Therefore, no more attempts should be made to ignite fresh conflicts in the party, enough is enough.

2. The maintenance of the existing zoning arrangements as negotiated in December 2021 will make the assignment of the Zoning Committee free from any biases, prejudices, preferences and insinuations.
It will make the committee’s assignment very easy to accomplish with fairness, equity and justice.

2. The maintenance of the existing zoning arrangement as of December 2021 will not allow a single man with an unattainable ambition to bury the PDP in his last political assault against our great Party.

3. Any attempt to change the existing Political Equilibrium as duly negotiated in December 2021 will bring untold crises that will finally bury our great party, make no mistakes. 

For avoidance of doubts, crises are already brewing in the North Central, Southeast and SouthWest Geopolitical zones of the PDP, if the rumors of the contemplated disruptions in the existing Political equilibrium, to satisfy the unbridled ambition of a single man, becomes a reality.

4. True Peace and Stability is not the absence of Violence, it is the Presence of Justice. Without justice, instability becomes inevitable as a natural consequence.

5. Any unjust, unfair and inequitable decisions of the Zoning Committee to inflict more pains and more humiliations to certain targeted geopolitical zones will be resisted by proportionate political measures to teach some dirty political lessons, make no mistakes. The right actions must be taken at this crucial moment, PDP must survive!
