Every parents want the best for their children in school, hence they spend whatever amount of money they could afford even borrow to make it possible to send their kids to school. But in doing so, some parents gets disappointed with the performances of their kids. Hence it is very important to find out what can help students to succeed in school.


Today, we shall discuss some factors that could help students to succeed in their schools.

A POSITIVE ATTITUDE AND STRONG WORK ETHIC:


Students who are motivated and willing to put in the effort to succeed are more likely to do well in school. Motivation from parents, teachers and school authorities can contribute to the success of students in school.


GOOD STUDY HABITS:


Students should cultivate effective study strategies, such as creating a schedule and breaking down tasks into smaller, manageable chunks, can help students stay organized and on track. Doing so is more likely to contribute to students success in school.


SUPPORT FROM PARENTS:


Cultivating a positive relationship with teachers and parents can provide students with the guidance and encouragement they need to succeed. When you send your child to school, it means that your child may fall into the hands of someone you do not know entirely, so there is need for parents to know the kind of teachers that are in charge of the present and future of their kids. Doing so will help you to determine if your children are safe or not with their teachers in school.


A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE:


Children need exercise, good nutrition, and adequate sleep to  maintain physical and mental well-being, which is important for academic success. So parents should help their kids to observe the Above. Schools should make out time to provide in their curriculum time for sports. While parents should provide nutritious meals to their children and help them to observe siesta at home and make them sleep early when night falls. That way, they will most likely succeed in school.


ENGAGING AND CHALLENGING CURRICULUM:


When students are presented with interesting, challenging and engaging materials, they are more likely to stay motivated and engaged in their studies. That means that states education authorities should provide schools with curriculum that is interesting and tasking in order for students to succeed.


ACCESS TO RESOURCES:


When students have access to the tools and resources they need to learn and thrive, such as technology, books, and other materials, they are better equipped to succeed in school. These days, due to technical advancement, parents should endeavor to provide the recommended text books and other materials that will enhance learning, that way, children may succeed in schools.


POSITIVE SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT:


A safe and supportive school environment where students feel valued and respected can help them feel more comfortable and confident in their learning. A well equipped classrooms, well ventilated, well lighted  classrooms would likely help children to succeed.


EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:


The children should be Involved in extracurricular activities such as sports, music, or educational clubs like dramatic, debating clubs etc can help them to develop important skills like teamwork, leadership, and time management, which can benefit them in their academic studies as well.


TUTORING OR EXTRA HELP:


Students who are struggling in a particular subject can benefit from additional help, whether it's through formal tutoring, extra help sessions, or working with a study group. It is not enough for students to learn enough of everything they need in the classrooms because of the limited times allocated for each subject daily, so it is advisable for parents to make additional arrangements for their kids to learn. That way, some areas that may have not been covered by their schools will be filled, that will definitely help children to succeed.


PERSONALIZED LEARNING:


Teachers can help students succeed by tailoring their instruction to the individual needs and learning styles of their students. By paying personal attention to individual students at times, teachers would be able to find out where a student may need such personal attention and help to fill the gap that may be missing. Applying this style will definitely help the students to succeed.


SELF REFLECTION AND GOAL SETTING:


Encouraging students to reflect on their own progress and set goals for their future can help them stay motivated and focused on their academic success. Children should be helped to set goals for themselves, that way, they will be able to measure if they are meeting up their goals or not in order to adjust. This can help them to succeed in school activities.


CULTURAL AND LINGUISTIC DIVERSITY:


A diverse school community where students are exposed to different cultures, languages, and backgrounds can help them develop empathy, cultural understanding, and a global perspective, which are valuable skills for success in the 21st century.


Finally, in making students to succeed, parents, teachers, school authorities and the government need to play their parts effectively and efficiently to make it happen.
