In the year 2000, Anana embarked on his foray into tourism by joining forces with High Chief Edem Duke at the Mirage Group, commencing as a doorman and swiftly ascending through the ranks, demonstrating unwavering dedication and determination. In 2001, he took a bold step by establishing Mirage Travels and Tour, laying the groundwork for his entrepreneurial journey.
Anana's innovative spirit came to the fore in 2002 with the introduction of the pioneering "NTIMKAMA" tour package to Obudu Ranch Resort, marking the inception of his impactful collaborations with airlines and hotels, culminating in him being recognized as the best tour guide by Aero Contractors.
His commitment to the advancement of tourism was further evidenced by his instrumental role in the establishment of the Cross River Tourism Development Initiative (CRITODIN) in 2002, showcasing his steadfast dedication to enhancing the tourism landscape. Over the years, he continued to spearhead various initiatives and assume pivotal roles aimed at elevating tourism in Akwa Ibom State and beyond.
From his tenure as General Manager of Belajno Hotel, Eket, to his leadership as CEO of Awazon Global, Anana's influence transcended organizational boundaries. His fervent dedication to staff development and recruitment underscored his belief in fostering talent within the industry.
Anana's impact extended beyond his professional pursuits as he actively engaged in community development endeavors, serving as a consultant for cultural festivals and heritage preservation initiatives. His commitment to promoting sustainable tourism earned him recognition as a UNWTO project promoter.
