Gov. Diri condoles with Chief Amule over wife's death

Governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri today visited the Amule’s family in Yenagoa to commiserate with them over the death of Mrs. Bridget Thompson Amule, wife of the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Chief Thompson Amule.
Mrs. Amule died on the 6th of July, 2024 at the age of 60.
"I was very shocked when the death of our brother's wife was communicated to me. Let me on behalf of the government and good people, convey our heartfelt condolences to my brother, Chief Thompson Amule and the entire family. We pray God to give you the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss," Governor Diri stated.
On the entourage of the Governor were, Hon. Tare Porri, member representing Ekeremor Constituency 1 in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Solomon Agwana, Chairman, People's Democratic Party, Bayelsa State Chapter, Hon. Isaac Onniye, Chairman of Ekeremor Local Government Area, Dr. Peter Akpe, Chief of Staff, Government House, Yenagoa, members of the state executive council, HRM, Hon. Justice F.F Tabai (Rtd.), Pere of Tuomo Kingdom and other top government officials.
