Sexual Scandal: Victim Alleges Senator Abbo Tried to Influence Her to Leave Her Husband

Wangna Miso, the individual at the center of a recent scandal involving Senator Ishaku Abbo, has disclosed details of their interactions during his senatorial campaign. Miso and her husband were active supporters of Abbo's campaign, traveling extensively to promote his candidacy. Following the campaign, Abbo transferred funds to Miso's account.
Miso recounted her surprise when Abbo later disclosed that the funds were intended for her to rent an apartment and separate from her husband. Despite his ongoing attempts to contact her, she chose to ignore him. Miso further revealed that Abbo sent an additional one million naira through an intermediary to assist with her rent, although she noted that the total support received was less than implied and often partial.
In an interview with Trust TV, Miso explained, "After a dispute with his wife, Abbo suggested that we should collaborate and continue campaigning for him. We supported his senatorial bid, canvassing across various areas together with his wife. Following the campaign, he transferred 2.5 million naira to my account. To my astonishment, he then indicated that this money was meant for me to rent a place and leave my husband. I was taken aback.
Abbo continued to call and message me, but I chose to ignore him, offering excuses to delay. He subsequently sent an additional one million naira through a friend, still focusing on the issue of housing. Contrary to his claims, the total financial support he provided was far less than the 10 million naira he had alleged. While he has assisted me on occasion, the support has been inconsistent
