Condolence Message
Bayelsa Federated Newspaper Publishers Association was profoundly saddened to learn of the sudden passing of the Bayelsa State Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Senator (Dr) Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo.

 He was an accomplished public servant known for his integrity, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the people of Bayelsa State and the nation.

He was a remarkable leader and a true gentleman who touched many lives with his dedication to service and his warm sense of humor.

Words may not suffice to ease the sorrow, but our thoughts and prayers are with the family to find strength and comfort in the Impactful life he lived. We share in your grief for the irreparable loss.

Wabara Responds to Wike’s Criticism By Wisdom Tide  January 31st, 2025 Senator Adolphus Wabara, former Senate President and current Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees, has responded to recent verbal attacks from Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Wike, in a live television interview, had questioned Wabara’s competence for his role and referenced past corruption allegations against him.
