Celebrating Love and Legacy: Barrister Sonia Ayakpo Ebiki Weds Mr. Raymond Ogbonda in a Grand Ceremony Bridging Bayelsa and Rivers States

In a union that beautifully blended tradition, elegance, and family legacy, Barrister Sonia Ayakpo Ebiki of Olugbobiri Community, SIGA, Bayelsa State, married Mr. Raymond Ogbonda of Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt Local Government Area, Rivers State, on 26th December 2025. The ceremony was a dazzling display of culture, sophistication, and joy, bringing together family, friends, and dignitaries from across the Niger Delta.

The wedding was honored by the presence of Professor Don Baridan, former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt and current Pro-Chancellor of the Federal University of Environmental and Technology, Sakpenwa, Ogoni Land, Rivers State, who chaired the occasion. His presence added a distinguished academic and leadership touch to the celebrations, highlighting the couple’s connection to communities of influence and service.

Guests were treated to a blend of rich cultural performances, heartfelt speeches, and moments of familial bonding that emphasized the deep roots and shared values of both families.
