If there is anything that influences humans on this planet earth, it is the environment where you live. The environment has a significant impact on human development is not in doubt. That is why we should take seriously anything concerning our environment where we have been placed by God.


Today let us check out the various ways which the environment affect our behavior, and health. 


SOME WAYS THE ENVIRONMENT IMPACT ON US:


Our environment is made up of two segments, the physical and the social components. The physical environment is everything that God has created before putting man on it, while the social environment is made up of the human society. Let us discuss these two components and how each of them influence or affect us.


PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT’S IMPACT


The Climate, natural resources, and geographical features which God made before creating man can impact human survival and well-being.


WAYS WHICH THE PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT AFFECT HUMANS:


The Climate and weather conditions.


The Air and water quality.


The Availability of resources and amenities


The Noise levels and light pollution


The Geographical location and topography


The Natural disasters

These factors can influence physical health, mental health, behavior, and overall well-being.

Design and safety of built environments


Socioeconomic status and poverty


Historical and cultural influences


Political and social stability


Natural disasters and environmental hazards

SOCIAL INFLUENCE


The social environments, such as family, peers, and community, shape an individual's values, beliefs, and behavioral patterns.


The effects of the social environment on individuals can be both positive and negative.

The social environment affect the development of social skills, empathy, and a sense of belonging

Negative effects could be that of peer pressure, bullying and discrimination that occur in society.


The reinforcement of harmful stereotypes and biases.


It increase stress and pressure to conform to societal norms and expectations.


POLITICAL INFLUENCE:


The social environment can make Laws, policies, and government systems which can shape social and economic environments and impact human rights and equality.


CULTURAL:


The Cultural norms and values influence behavior, attitudes, and beliefs.


The environment can either support or challenge human growth and development.

PSYCHOLOGICAL:


Living conditions and stressors in the environment can affect mental health and cognitive development.


TECHNICALLY:


Exposure to technology and advancements can impact behavior, communication, and the way people interact with each other and the world.


THE DESIGN:


The design and accessibility of buildings, streets, and cities can impact physical and mental health, social interaction, and access to resources.


NATURAL ENVIRONMENT:


The  exposure to nature can impact physical and mental health, and play a role in preserving biodiversity and ecosystems.


HISTORICAL: 


Some Historical events and legacies can shape cultural, economic, and political environments for generations.


GLOBAL ISSUES:


Some global issues such as climate change and resource depletion, can impact the environment and human populations on a global scale.


To conclude our discussion, the. environment plays a complex and multi-faceted role in shaping human life, and it's essential to consider and address environmental factors in various areas of human development and well-being.


Man should take note of the above and try to make sure to help ourselves to preserve the environment by applying caution and do our best to make the environment, bother the physical and the social environments.
