He further explained that his research has taken him to over 500 libraries across Nigeria, Africa, and the United States. In every library he visited, he found records and materials about Obasanjo. "Every country we traveled to," Osso continued, "the President would instruct me to visit major libraries or documentation centers and search for materials on key African leaders such as Kwame Nkrumah, Nelson Mandela, and himself. Without fail, I would always find substantial material on Obasanjo." This, he argued, makes Obasanjo one of the most informed and influential Africans alive today.
