You are now a part of the state, and I congratulate you for concluding all the necessary processes of acquisition, but please be reminded that you are not only acquiring the assets, you are also acquiring the liabilities.
You are a brand new company, so in terms of employment, let the people of Bayelsa State be well employed.
In terms of other contractual obligations, please involve the people of the State. That way, there will be mutual respect, and peace in your operations.
When we talk about employment, we are not talking about just the lowest cadre of employment like cleaners, cooks etc, we want to see some of us sitting with you on that side as one of your managers, so that when you are introducing, we will be proud to say one Bayelsan is also seated with the Managing Director and his team."
