Ambassador Godknows-Boladei-Igali continues to stand out as one of the most committed leaders of the Niger Delta, demonstrating an unwavering dedication to human capacity development, educational advancement, and regional progress. As former Chairman of the Governing Board of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Ambassador Igali played a transformative role in expanding educational opportunities for young people across the Ijaw Nation. Since his involvement began, over eighty young men and women of Ijaw extraction have been admitted into FUTA across successive academic sessions — a remarkable achievement credited to his influence, mentorship, and passionate advocacy for his people. These admissions span from the 2021/2022 academic year to the ongoing 2025/2026 session, demonstrating a sustained commitment that continues to yield life-changing outcomes.

Beyond education, Ambassador Igali’s leadership as Chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) has further cemented his role as a bridge-builder and visionary strategist dedicated to the advancement of the Niger Delta. His voice consistently aligns with peace, justice, and development, and his actions reflect a selfless pursuit of progress for the region.
