It is with immense joy, profound respect, and great delight that I extend my warmest congratulations to His Royal Majesty, HRM King Oboro- Gbaraun II, Pere of Ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, on his inauguration as the Chairman of the Institute for Niger Delta Studies ( INDS) Advisory Council.

Your Royal Majesty's elevation to this distinguished position is both a well-deserved honour and a significant milestone for the Institute. It reflects the confidence reposed in your exemplary leadership, wisdom, experience, and enduring commitment to the advancement of the Niger Delta and the wellbeing of its people. 

At this pivotal stage in the growth and development of the Institute for Niger Delta Studies, your leadership of the Advisory Council comes at a most auspicious time.

We are confident that your wealth of experience and invaluable traditional and community leadership will provide the guidance, inspiration, and strategic direction required to advance the Institute's mandate and strengthen it's contribution to research, scholarship, cultural preservation, policy development, and sustainable development in the Niger Delta. 

As Ag. Director of the Institute for Niger Delta Studies and Secretary of the Advisory Council, I am particularly honoured to work with your Royal Majesty and the distinguished members of the Council in furthering the vision and aspirations of the Institute. 

Your Royal Majesty, this appointment is not merely a recognition of your stature as a revered traditional ruler; it is also a call to service at a time when the Niger Delta requires visionary leadership, intellectual engagements, and purposeful collaborations  more than ever.

I am confident that under your able Chairmanship, the Advisory Council will make a lasting and remarkable impact on the Institute and, ultimately, on the Niger Delta region.
